Oh, the questions we've been asked since we told people about our adoption! This one is for all the parents who have been asked all these questions too!

Believe it or not, I have gotten at least one comment like that because I have chosen to go the pregnancy route to become a parent many times. It seems that some people just feel the need to comment on other's family choices. Sorry that you guys have had to hear some obnoxious comments. I hope none of them were from me.
I love this cartoon. Love it, love it. I read recently of someone who really wants to respond to bad adoption questions by asking, "What positions were you in when you conceived your children?" Maybe they'll get the hint.
I so agree with you Katie! I think people just want to try to understand the reasoning behind families that are different from theirs! Since we have waited so long to add to our family, we've gotten many comments about Connor being an only child!
I just wish people didn't assume adoption is a "last ditch effort" to add to your family. As far as we know, we could have more biological children, but we just want to give kids a home, whether they come out of my body or not!
I agree Jessica. We have 4 bio kids and are adopting a baby from Taiwan, not because we can't have kids but because we've chosen to add to our family this way. I try not to let the rude comments bother me because I know people are just ignorant, but it does get under my skin sometimes!!
